About the event
Judith Baker Montano, the queen of the modern crazy quilt, says that a crazy quilt is a quilt that is tied, not quilted, and the seams are always embroidered. But of course it is more than that. A crazy quilt is also a snapshot of history. In the workshop we start with a simple block and learn how to transfer the pattern to a muslin foundation, then use the flip and sew method to attach your fabrics by machine.
